Member of the American Yo-Yo Association (AYYA) and past member of the board of Directors of the AYYA. Member of the Spin Doctors Yo-Yo Club.

Three time National Yo-Yo Champion (1994, 95 & 96) and three time World Yo-Yo Champion (1994, 95 & 97).

Has served as a judge at the World Yo-Yo Contest every year since 1999 and at U.S. National Yo-Yo Contest every year since 1997. Has worked on the contest rules for both Nationals and Worlds since 1997. Continues to judge local and regional yo-yo contests on the west coast.

Currently holds the open AYYA World Records for Milk the Cow (562), 2-Handed Inside Loops (540) and 2-Handed Reach for the Moon (1057).
In addition Bill currently holds six Masters (50 and over) World records.
